Chosen for her soft-handling fleece, Smidgen is from the beginning
of our vicuña suri llama breeding program. Amongst
her progeny are the two fine-fibered daughters pictured here.
WoodsEdge Show Off and WoodsEdge Showboat are full sisters out of
Racing River, and are both owned by alpaca breeders knowledgeable
about producing elite fleeces! At 18 months of age, Showboat
had a 21.7 micron fleece! Smidgen is bred back to WoodsEdge
Rio Bravo, as she has crossed so well with his sire. We expect
this next generation to fully live up to its’ exceptional
lineage.
